Bullying behavior that involves student to student aggression may be reported to any SCUSD employee or administrator verbally or in writing. Although not required, the district’s Report of Suspected Bullying Form may be used to make a report.
Did you know we’re the School Cents 2015-16 Third Place winner? That’s $1,500 for MLK! A big thank you to all our students, families, and teachers/staff who participated in the program this year. Monthly prizes, popcorn parties, and School Cents brag tags will return next year.
Please save your Arden Fair receipts starting August 1st when the program resumes for the 2016-17 school year. You can drop-off your original receipts at MLK when the office reopens in August. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions.
We are very proud of all of the accomplishments at MLK. Our staff is committed to making an impact on student learning by providing a wide range of learning experiences. We welcome everyone to visit our campus and you will immediately see and feel that our learning environment supports student learning. We have worked very hard in helping our students to develop the necessary skills to have a greater voice for their thoughts and ideas. We are at the forefront in integrating technology as a way to change our pedagogical practices and to increase student engagement.
You can register your child for Kindergarten at the SCUSD Enrollment center located at 5601 47th Avenue. Please click on the link below to download and print the forms you will need to fill out and bring with you to register your child. And, please remember that MLK Jr. does have a full day kindergarten program.
