Before & After School Care
Introduction - Elementary
Below are the before and after school care options available at our school. These programs are run by independent organizations on our campus, so please contact them directly with any questions.

After School Expanded Learning Program
Sacramento City Unified’s Expanded Learning Program is grant-funded and offered at no cost to our families. It operates after school until 6 p.m., including on minimum days.
Children's Center (Free or Reduced)
SCUSD's Early Learning & Care Dept offers before and after school care at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School. The program if free or reduced depending on income and eligibility.
Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary has a year-round before and after school child care which provides care to TK-6th graders Monday thru Friday! Hours of operation are 7:00am-6:00pm
